  Thank you to Mr Noble and Derbyshire Fire Fighting Crew for bringing his fire engine to our school! The children enjoyed an informative fire safety talk and demonstration. They all enjoyed taking a look around the fire engine. What an exciting day!

  Lots of important messages about being safe on social media for our Year 3 and 4 children today.  Bright Futures delivered a great interactive workshop. Good listening and fantastic questions children!

  A fantastic morning has been had with a traditional celebration of English heritage. The teachers and children enjoyed performing their dances. Thank you to all the parents for their positive comments. Mrs Baker, Mrs Rowe's first teacher 36 years ago loved the morning. Mrs Baker said it was an absolute delight to see such happy children. 

• Visit from Saltmine Theatre Company

  Year 2 to Year 6 have watched a magnificent production about keeping safe online this afternoon. It was called ' Escape'. Why not ask them what the important rules are about keeping safe online?

• Soccer in the Sun!

  The children have had a great afternoon enjoying the sunshine. They have received a Soccer Stars taster session. A letter has gone home today and children can be booked on via ParentPay.

  The children and staff thoroughly enjoyed a visit from the Animal Lady. It's not every day you come to school and meet a meerkat! Thank you to everybody who donated towards this.
