Big thanks to Urban Gong and Baby People musicians! The whole school were so impressed by their performance of Gamelan music based around the question of what it means to be free. The huge gong was a real hit too! Lottie, you were a star performer!
The Year 5 & 6 children spent the rest of the day writing a whole school rap about friends. The finished piece should be with us next week. Take a look at our twitter for live updates!
Everybody had a great time at Sports Day this week. A huge thank you to Mrs Baxter for organising the fantastic day! There was a great team spirit and the children showed fantastic sportsmanship. Thank you to all of the parents who came to support the children. Please see the gallery section of the website for more photos.
Sending you lots of love and positive thoughts on your maternity leave. We look forward to seeing you and baby soon!
Dragonflies visited The Swan in Walton on Thursday this week. The children and staff enjoyed a demonstration of how to make pizzas as part of their healthy eating topic. The children were also lucky enough to sample some of the Swan’s delicious pizza. Thank you to the Swan for allowing us to visit and sample your menu.
Well done to the Y5s for their brilliant dance performance this week. Thank you to the parents who came to watch. We are always proud of our Walton children. A huge thank you to everyone that supported us on the trip this week, especially Mrs Freeman, Miss O’Hara, Mrs Turner and Mrs de Jongh who gave up their time to help us. It was a really lovely day- the weather was kind and the farm provided us with so many things to do on the day.
We were also lucky enough to get a voucher for a free return trip- please check your child’s bag, as it does have an expiry date.
Walton children are a real credit to us, and to you- behaviour and manners were impeccable as always. It was a pleasure to take your little ones out for the day!
Miss Harris, Mrs Toft, Mrs Bollington and Mrs Wheatley.
