  • RE Ambassadors

    Tue 26 Sep 2017
    The RE Ambassadors have been given a date to lead their first Collective Worship of the year. They will be taking the lead of different sections of Collective Worship in practice and will take the lead on Wednesday 18th October.

    The Burton Mail came into school today to take a photograph of the new Reception children. Keep an eye out in the Burton Mail to see our new starters.
  • International Day of Peace

    Today we celebrated International Day of Peace. We had a collective worship based on this and had discussions about how we can promote peace.
  • NSPCC

    Wed 20 Sep 2017
    Today we had the NSPCC come in and deliver an assembly to both Key Stage 1 and 2. They discussed how the children can speak out and stay safe. They then carried out a workshop with the Arachnids.
  • Meet the teacher

    Thank you to all of the parents and grandparents that came into school today for 'Meet the teacher'. The children loved that you were able to come in and join in with the activities planned. Particular well done to the parents that joined in with the dance session with Jay.

    Today the children at Walton have been celebrating the work of Roald Dahl by dressing up as their favourite character and exploring the various books that he has written. Take a look at the class pages to find out all about what they have been up to.

We will be looking at our school values of Honesty, Respects and Kindness and how we can continue to promote these in our every day school life. We will also be looking at our take care rules.
