  • Arts Week!

    Fri 07 Jul 2017 ST

This week we have had a whole school focus on the arts. We have been extremely lucky to have a variety of visitors into the school to share their talents. Below are snippets of work that took place.

John Waterhouse came in to work with some of the children in Key Stage 2. The aim of this session was to look into 2D and 3D drawings and methods that the children can use to enhance their creations. The children really enjoyed their session and have learnt some valuable skills.

Mr Rowley worked with each of the classes to look into superhero/comic strip images. He taught the children some hints and tips and all of the children created some amazing images of a Walton superhero!

Miss Clayton from John Taylor came to work with the children in creating canvases linked to our school values of Honesty, Respect and Kindness. The canvas work looked amazing and the children worked extremely hard to ensure they represent our values well. Keep your eyes peeled for the whole school canvas in the hall.
