Welcome to Walton-on-Trent Church of England ( C) Primary and Nursery School.

The School Day

From September 2023, the times of the school day are changing
Gates will still open from 8.40 but all children must be in for 8.55am. This time is used for learning so the earlier your children can be at school, the more they will get out of this extra learning time.
The school day will now end at 3.25pm. This allows us to extend our afternoon lessons, build in a proper break and also end the day (in every class) with the sharing of a book. Something we are all very passionate about.
Rabbits (Nursery)
The day officially starts at 9am for Rabbits and ends at 3pm. Mrs Bollington will continue to meet Rabbits from 8.40am on the gate. For those families with older siblings, we will now offer a mini-wrapround service from 3-3.20pm for a fee of £1.50. This will be payable on ParentPay. Please contact the school office if you wish your child to take advantage of this service and we will happily set it up for you.
