  • Anti Bullying Week

     Anti-Bullying week was a success. The children took part in a variety of different learning activities in the classroom including creating a class anti bullying charter, learning about online safety, NSPCC clips and discussions about our take care rules and how to be a good friend.

    Thank you to all of the parents who attended parents' evening this week. Parents' evening is a wonderful way to share your child's achievements and progress.

    Today we had Najia visit us from the National Arboretum. She worked with the children in Year 3 and 4 to create origami hearts that will be hung in the Widow's Wood at the Arboretum for Remembrance Sunday. Head down to the National Arboretum to see the children's work on display.

    Thank you to all of the parents who came into school today to join their children for lunch. The children thoroughly enjoyed having you here and we hope that you enjoyed the roast dinner.

    We have never seen so much pink all in one building! The children did a wonderful job in raising awareness of Breast Cancer today and raised a total of £110. Well done Walton!
  • Thank you Vicar Week

    This week we have been celebrating 'Thank you Vicar week'. Reverend Bill came into school today to share his lunchtime with the KS2 children. The children all came together to create him a card and presented it to him in the dinner hall. We are all so appreciative of all of the hard work that he does so we would like to say a big 'THANK YOU' to Reverend Bill!
  • Harvest Festival

    Wow! What a turn out we had in church on today. The children all worked very hard and loved performing to you. Thank you for all your continued support. All of the food donated will be collected by the Salvation Army on Thursday.
  • Yamaha Music School

    The Yamaha music school visited Walton today! They showcased the guitar and the different opportunities the KS2 children have to learn to play. The children really enjoyed it and if you would like any more information please contact the Yamaha music school directly. 
  • Maths Calculation Workshop

    Thank you to Miss Lane for hosting the Maths calculation workshop today! We hope that the parents who attended found it very useful and enjoyed having a go at the different activities that were on offer.
