• Harvest Festival

• Family Mile

  Thank you to all of our super fit parents who joined the whole school for a family mile run around the school field. We celebrated Stand Up Derbyshire Day 2018 with bubbles, a jogging bear and lots of smiles!

• European day of Languages

• Hot Chocolate Friday

• Move Up Afternoon!

  The children have all spent the afternoon in their new classes and have had an energetic and productive afternoon getting to know their new teacher! 

• Morris Dancing

  This morning the children enjoyed a demonstration and talk on Morris dancing. We are enjoying keeping up British traditions. Thank you to Mr Dukes for a wonderful assembly!

• Year 6 Vs Teacher Rounders

  The Year 6 children and staff loved playing rounders together after school this week. The teachers won but the children participated fantastically. We are proud tto be Walton!

• Beehive Workshops!

  On Thursday the children enjoyed a day of beehive workshops. Burton and District Bee Association generously donated their time to educating the children on bees, the process of making honey, why bees are important and how to care for them. The beekeepers also left us with a colouring competition and a child from each class was chosen to win a beeswax candle! Please see the photos on the gallery section of the website.
