  • First Aid

    Mrs Jarvis very kindly came into school today to work with children across the school in teaching them CPR and first aid! The children all enjoyed their sessions and have learnt some life long skills. Thank you Mrs Jarvis!
  • Beatboxing

    Tue 02 May 2017 ST
    Lucas the beatboxer came into school today as a reward for the Star Foundation collection. The children had a wonderful experience and all had a go at beat boxing themselves!
  • Maasai Water Appeal

    We held a sponsored water walk around the school field in order to raise money for our Maasai friends in Kenya. We raised nearly £350 for this appeal.  Kenya is currently in a drought and there is no water to the village school. We have raised money to provide a water tanker and some food to the school. We are looking forward to seeing you Maasai friends in the coming months when they revisit our school.
  • St George's Day assembly

    Well done to our RE Ambassadors for delivering the assembly today all about St George. They told the story behind the Patron Saint of England and also invited budding actors and actresses to join the storytelling. Well done!
  • Catton Hall Trip for Ladybirds and Bumblebee classes

    Another successful day trip to Catton hall for two classes, marking the end of their Forest Friday sessions in the spinney at school. The children absolutely love these days and learn so many important life skills through our Forest School work. A big thanks to Mr Orton and Mrs Toft for organising the day. Also thank you to the parents who volunteered their time to help out. Much appreciated.
  • Easter Celebration at the church

    A lovely service led by the children and Reverend Janet was held at the Church to mark the start of the Easter period. Reverend Janet told the story of Palm Sunday whilst children acted out the story. Caterpillars and Ladybirds sang Easter songs and the school Mothers day choir sang their Mothering Sunday songs again. Well done everyone! Happy Easter holidays to you all.
  • Active Playground Training

    Sports Crew you are all stars! We had 15 midday supervisors and TAs join us through the NFTS Alliance to see our wonderful Active Playground in action. Sports Crew delivered the games, explained how our playtimes work and answered questions from the delegates.  So very proud of you all delivering your own course! True leaders in Y5 and 6!no
  • Mothering Sunday Choir at the Church

    Well done to the children who sang at the Mothering Sunday Service at our church on Sunday. Ana played the Church organ beautifully  with Gracie leading the choir.  The children sang two songs about our wonderful mums. Thank you parents for taking them. We hope that you enjoyed it!
  • Comic Relief

    What a success Comic Relief was at school. Evie, Lily and Isaac organised and ran the entire day of activities; including a talent show for KS2 children and a bake sale after school. Well done to all of the children for taking part and caring so much.
  • Mothers Day activities

    Wow, what a lot of mums came to school to share in our Mothers day activities! It was great to see so many mums involved in the arts and crafts activities. We hope you enjoyed helping out in school. Dad's, it's your turn next for the Father's day Lunch in June!
