We held a sponsored water walk around the school field in order to raise money for our Maasai friends in Kenya. We raised nearly £350 for this appeal. Kenya is currently in a drought and there is no water to the village school. We have raised money to provide a water tanker and some food to the school. We are looking forward to seeing you Maasai friends in the coming months when they revisit our school.

Another successful day trip to Catton hall for two classes, marking the end of their Forest Friday sessions in the spinney at school. The children absolutely love these days and learn so many important life skills through our Forest School work. A big thanks to Mr Orton and Mrs Toft for organising the day. Also thank you to the parents who volunteered their time to help out. Much appreciated.

A lovely service led by the children and Reverend Janet was held at the Church to mark the start of the Easter period. Reverend Janet told the story of Palm Sunday whilst children acted out the story. Caterpillars and Ladybirds sang Easter songs and the school Mothers day choir sang their Mothering Sunday songs again. Well done everyone! Happy Easter holidays to you all.
