Wellbeing at Walton

Wellbeing Award for Schools (WAS) Verification Report

We fully understand that being healthy and happy is key to being successful.  This is why we make wellbeing and positive mental health a priority for our community. Our vision and values are at the heart of everything that we do at school. For more information on these please see our Vision and Values page on the website.

We also know that the people in our community are what makes our school extra special and we are very proud of the connections that we make with our children and each other.heart

Our engaging and exciting curriculum, our amazing Forest School,  the variety of playtime provision, our school environment with vibrant and welcoming displays, local and global projects  etc also contribute to our wellbeing culture - but  most of all we know that the people who work at Walton and our incredible children are key to our wellbeing success!

Today's marks the beginning of #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek!

Children like everyone else can get depressed, sad, anxious you name it & they might not understand the feelings they're going though!

Check up on the children in your family to make sure they're okay!
