Summer Term
During the Summer term, children will learn about the history of three of the world’s first ancient civilisations: ancient Sumer, ancient Egypt and the Indus Valley civilisation.
In Summer term 1, children will learn about the rise, life, achievements and eventual end of each civilisation and the topic is mainly history based.
In Summer term 2, the children will follow a geography based topic and will be learning about where they are (locally, nationally and internationally) and also comparing the physical features of both the UK and Egypt.
