Home Learning Project - Due on Monday 31st March

Please complete the two activities highlighted in pink and at last one other! I can't wait to see which projects the children decide to complete. Remember, the projects are displayed on the Curriculum Showcase and the children love having the opportunity to share their work with you!

 

Spring 1 Home Learning Project - every child needs to complete the activity highlighted in pink and then choose 3 other activities to complete. Please could all projects be in school by Monday 10th February as we like to display them at the Curriculum Showcase!

Our topic this half term is science-based!

 

Science: Properties and changes of materials; working scientifically

D&T: Electrical circuits

Geography: Map reading; co-ordinates; human and physical features

PE: Real PE and Real Gym

Maths: Power Maths

 

The children are loving our class book for this topic. Land of Roar by Jenny McLachlan.

 

The children are enjoying Power Maths and are putting in lots of effort to improve their confidence and challenge themselves.

We enjoyed learning how to intercept the ball in PE!

We’ve started designing our minibeast hotels!

Starting the new school year by promoting our school values and Take Care Rules in the classroom!

Mrs Stewart assures us that she didn’t gobble up hundreds of ice lollies over the Summer just so that we could learn our Roman Numerals...but we don’t believe her!

Using Place Value counters is really helping us in maths!

We’ve had a lovely first week in Fox Class studying the story of The Fire Children! We can’t wait for the JTMAT art exhibition during October half term!
