Homework for the Caterpillar Class is changing. Along with cursive writing practice, the children will now be asked to complete a project based piece of work that will be due in on the last Friday of the half term. Please see below for the project that has been set for half terms throughout the year. If you have any questions please feel free to ask at any time. Thank you!

Summer 1

This term our topic is 'Nature Nerds'. I would like you to get in touch with nature! You could go on a nature walk, create a habitat for an animal in your garden, go bird watching, make a bird feeder. There are so many different things you could do! Share your work with the class.....bring it in, take some photos, create an information booklet. Be as creative as you like! Please share your homework with the class by Friday 26th May. Enjoy frown

Spring 2

This term we are using the topic 'Helping Hands' to support our learning. Homework this term is for the children to choose somebody that helps them in any way. It may be a parent, grandparent, dentist, doctor, hairdresser etc. The children are to create a description of this person and how that person helps them. You may choose to take a photograph, draw a picture or simply write about it. It is up to you! This piece of homework is due in on Friday 7th April 2017. Enjoy!

Spring 1

Time to get messy! This term we are using the topic 'To infinity and beyond'. I would like the children to create a piece of artwork related to our topic. You might want to paper mache a planet, build a rocket, draw a picture of your favourite space book or even create an alien! This will be due on Friday 10th February. Have fun frown

Autumn 2

I would like the children to choose a familiar or favourite story. The children are then to create a poster about their chosen story. The children may choose to retell the story, express their likes and dislikes about the story or simply draw the characters. Be as creative as you like and I hope that you have lots of fun making it! This will be due in on Friday 16th December.
